Company Introduction
The Election Commission of Pakistan is an independent and autonomous federal body incorporated under the Constitution of Pakistan and responsible for fairly conducting elections. All local governments, the presidency, the national and provincial assemblies, and other positions are up for election at these elections.
The commission is responsible for everything from elections to the declaration of results. The purpose of the ECP’s establishment in 1956 was to provide the groundwork for a just and equitable system. Since then, it has been structured to deliver fair elections under the rule of law. A 5-member panel makes up the body, and the Chief Election Commissioner serves as the leader of the House.
