As per the current WAPDA Career Notice, WAPDA invites applications from eligible and suitable candidates (Open Merit Quota) all over Pakistan. Vacancies are open for Director of Security and Deputy Director of Security. Retired Army Officers (Colonel/Lt.Col.) can apply for these posts.

Serving candidates should apply through the proper channels; an Advance copy of the application can be sent without obtaining NOC. The candidate will not be permitted to appear for the interview if the NOC from the relevant department is not presented.

The advertisement specifies the upper and lower age restrictions, as well as any age relaxation. Further age relaxation will be given as per government rules.

Candidates applying against the disabled quota have to provide a disability certificate and application form from the concerned government department.
