Recently, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) released job openings for the following variety of positions. Only those candidates who are qualified and meet the requirements set forth by the Commission are asked to apply, regardless of where they reside in Pakistan.

The Higher Education Commission is an independent body that oversees higher education in Pakistan. Incorporated in 1974 as the University Grants Commission, HEC underwent reforms in 2002.
The main roles of the Higher Education Commission include policy formulation, quality assurance and ensuring that international standards are maintained in degree programmes. Foreign funding, scholarships, and other financial programs are also handled here.
Apart from these services, it provides a highly secure carrier line to the people of Pakistan.

Applications are invited for Member (Quality Assurance), Member (Academics), Member (Information Technology), Member (Research Development and Innovation), Consultant – Policy for Research and Innovation, Consultant – Planning and Development, and Consultant Law.
Educational background is required for the positions. At least LLB, Master’s degree, and Ph.D. Educational qualification is required. Candidates should have 6 to 20 years of experience in the relevant domain.
Candidates with greater education and experience will be given preference, with merit taking precedence. Information needs to be accurate and true. For the first year, the appointment will be made on a contract basis.
